Our flamenco passion started early, in late 80's. Researching a lot the few information at our disposal in that time we collected a reasonable ammount of books and disks (in vinyl yet), despite it's difficulty. Almost all stuff, with exception of Paco de Lucía and Camarón, was imported, expensive and with a long time to arrive.
In late 90's, despite the internet was in it's beginnings, we founded information about flamenco dance schools, a few flamenco shows and were could we buy shoes.
With this informations we started to study for real, yet working in our regular jobs and with all of our free time dedicated to flamenco. At the end of 2001 we were already living exclusively on Flamenco, affection that we pass on to most of the family, to our proud and satisfaction.
The year of 2020, with the pandemics, was an obligatory stop to reflection. Paradigms change, to see our values under a new optics, quality of life... in the end, after 20 years with the school in São Paulo we decided to move to a place with more quality of life and in this way we gone to Joinville, the "city of dance".
After an agradable year in that city a new opportunity appeared, this time in Europe, in Lisbon, and here we are! Part of family became distant, other part became nearest, anyway... it is not by chance that Rueda is called Rueda (means wheel in spanish).
Come be part of this story!
